About Us
How It Started
Full of natural beauty boasting 25 acres of ponds, fields and forests, the property has been in the same family for 3 generations. Charles Gustin purchased the property in 1948 and it was home to he and his two sons for many years. Eventually his son Lewis acquired the property, settled there with his wife Naomi and raised five children. The home was always filled with family, friends, laughter, and love. Our hope is for that to continue for many generations to come.
Meet the Owners
Deanna grew up on the property at 28 Gustin Lane in Greene Maine. Kevin grew up in Salem, New Hampshire. We met in college, fell in love, and were married in 1990. 3 kids (2 of whom are now married themselves and 1 who soon will be), 1 cat, several dogs, 3 grandchildren (with a 4th on the way!) and 35 years later, we are realizing our dream. Both of us have years of experience cultivating relationships that last a lifetime, managing successful teams and achieving great results. We feel the first step to making your day special is to spend it with the right people, allow us to help you with that.
When so many young couples are already weighed down with debt, our goal is to provide a beautiful wedding venue at an affordable price. Lupines & Lace is a picturesque setting close to lodging, dining, and other entertainment. Our venue can accommodate many of life’s special occasions and gatherings, whether it is for a single day or evening event or for a weekend-long wedding celebration.
